Fire Class Going To School

Original story by JWDD just a new twist thank you. Hope spelling is not that bad
———————————————————————————————FIRE CLASS GOING TO SCHOOL
Waking up the next morning felt void. I realized that I wouldn’t see my parents until the Christmas break. It felt bad you know. I slowly got up and made my way to the restroom, I took a shower to refresh myself.
When I came out everyone was awake getting ready to go. I went to my room to dress the old fashion way. I put on my robe and shoes and teleported into the kitchen were mum or should I say magic was making pancakes.
I sat in the table and a plate full of pancakes made its way to me. While I was eating mum took notice of my sad mood “is something wrong sweety” she asked her motherly instincts kicking in.
“Yes, mum it’s just that I won’t be seeing you or dad for months and it feels weird”
“Baby I know what you feel me and your dad went through the same thing but don’t worry this is something you will get over rather quickly ok” she said while giving him a hug.
Everyone else made their way down stairs and got their pancakes. Jess sat next to me she also noticed my sad looked as she wore one herself we both she stayed quiet while eating everyone had mini conversations while waiting to go.
“Ok everyone grab your stuff and let’s go or we will be late” dad said getting up from the table.
We all got our bags and went to the backdoor my mum raised her wand and said “Javick”.
We opened the door to the usual noise and buzz of Bacra the mage capital. As we made our way to our destination I noticed that there were a lot more kids than before, guessing they were also attending mage school.
There was a small crowd forming next to a giant door and we were going in that direction.
“Ok, all students going to Harrington Mage School please fallow me” said a lady looking to be in her mid-forties from the misplaced door.
She turned around waved her wand pointed at the door. The door opened to a rather woodsy area it had tick trees and it was foggy. There were carriages waiting for us at the other side.
“Give me a hug honey “my mum said turning me around. I noticed she was almost in tears. I gave her a hug and one for Dad. Jess was doing the same and when we were done she we met up and walked to a carriage. As we walked past the door the temperature dropped to almost the negatives it was freezing.
We finally made it to a carriage placing our suitcases on an empty carriage we both climbed in with our pets closing the doors to try and save valuable warmth. Seconds later the doors either side swung open as two girls stepped in with us, closing the doors they were shivering like crazy in their shorts and t-shirt “Here let me help” I said creating a small fireball in my hand making the entire carriage warm and toasty. “I’m Rosie” the girl in front of me said smiling “Jamie” I replied looking to her sister for her answer “Becky, were from Australia” she said relaxing into her seat whilst the warmth of the carriage surrounded her. Looking at the two girls it was obvious they were twins, same hair, same eye, well same everything that’s what makes them twins.
“Tell me, if your twins does that mean you have the same powers and talents” I asked shifting my gaze from twin to twin, “Yes, were both air, as well as talented in Electricity and we even have matching pets being two hawks” Becky said speaking up as she sounds proud to be exactly alike her sister. “Who was born first” I asked looking curiously at them both as Rosie perked up “I was, by 4minutes” she said with such pride “That makes you the duplicate” I told Becky causing us all to laugh. “Why don’t you call your pets in, we don’t want them freezing” I told the two girls as they quickly opened the window allowed two twin hawks to enter in from each side, once they were in I hurriedly used my energy power to close the windows heating up my fireball so we would warm up.
“So does any of you know how the school is” I said looking around the carriage.
“Well my mum said that we have to take a sword fighting class” Rosy said looking around, I made a face like why would we need to learn how to sword fight if we are mages and Jess seemed to think the same when she asked “Why would we need to learn how to sword fight”
“Because of disputes between weak mages and strong mages, you see when you want to fight someone like Brad Cross with magic you fight him in the physical side with swords” Bethany said.
“Ok, but won’t people get really hurt while fighting one another” I said getting nervous at the thought of dying while being so powerful.
“No you don’t need to worry they have a protective spell over the arena that only lets you feel the pain instead of getting hurt physically it stops the attack right before it hits you” Rosy said
“Is there other rules we should be aware of while in the school” Jess said looking rather annoyed that she had to learn how to sword fight.
“Mage points” said Bethany
“Mage points? What’s that” I said
“Well to promote students to do better in academics and in challenging each other they have Mage points, each week according to your grades and fighting record you get mage points which you can use to get food better apartments and such” said Rosy
“Wait a minute you mean if you don’t get good grades you don’t get points and you can’t eat food” I said amazed at the new rules.
“Yeah pretty much” Bethany said “But don’t worry they will explain the rules in more detail when we get to school”
“Ok” said Jess
We relaxed through most of the ride to school enjoying the warmth of the fire I had created.
Bethany was noticing how I was relaxing while keeping the ball fire going “Are you the mage that broke the 12 spikes record?”
I was planning on keeping it a secret for as long as I could but she seemed trust worthy “Yes, but keep it to yourself for now I don’t want people to know just yet”
“AHH I knew it, you just had this aura of power about you that I had never seen in anyone else” said Rosy while she jumped around like a child that has been given candy.
“SHHH, Rose we don’t want people to hear, so are you single” Said Bethany
I knew she wasn’t asking so she could go out with me she was just curious “No, I going out with this pretty thing next to me” I said motioning to Jess. She smiled and leaned into me and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said “And I going out with this hot thing next to me too”
Rosy and Bethany seemed to be having a good while we got to school in my opinion I was having a good time. We kept chatting for the rest of the ride getting to know each other better by the end of it we had made two new friends.
Getting out of the carriage I dispersed the fire ball, grabbed my bags and walked with Jess and the twins to the school entrance. The School had Granite bricks all through the outside and the steps the school pretty much looked like it was carved from a granite boulder.
“Leave your bags here the keeper will get them to your room, after fallow me to the Dining hall” The lady said and she turned around and kept walking and we kept fallowing.
Walking into the Dining hall was like walking to the Kings palace everything seemed so expensive and luxurious.
“Please take your seats according to your class” Said an old man at the very front of the dining hall.
I slowly walked to my table and sat down. Everyone was having a good time talking and more talking everyone was pretty obsessed by the fact that there was a new world’s strongest mage among them although they didn’t know who it was. The Old man which I leaned his name was Mr. Kron got up from his chair and got everyone’s attention.
“For those of you that are new this year at Harrington Mage school, I would like to guide you through our rules” He waved his wand and in front of each student sat a piece of paper titled Rules.
“Please take your time to read this paper as you will need to know this by tomorrow, Some rules are not written in here but you will learn them through the year” Mr. Kron said from his podium.
I started reading the paper and it said
RULES
1). Fighting outside the arena is punishable. Students that disobey this rule will face deductions in their mage point’s allowance.
2). Fights must take place with a teacher as supervisor. To schedule a challenge you must talked to a teacher and they will let you use the arena.
3). Bets are usually allowed you can bet mage points when challenged.
4).If you never lose a sword fight with another mage you get a bonus in your weekly mage points
5).Mage points are based on academic grades, Fighting record, and discipline record.
6) .First year students have a week to create their sword before challenges are allowed.
7). If you are challenged and you don’t have a sword you will be disqualified.
8). To create a sword you must first find the element you want it made of then you will go to the Swords teacher and he will help you create the sword.
9). Taking swords class is obligatory. Failure to do so could lead to disciplinary measures being taken.
Other rules you will learn as you go through the school year.
I was pretty much informed of most of the rules on the way here. I continued to eat and chit chat with the guys and girls around me but I was starting to miss Jess as I turned around to look for her I noticed this guy bothering Jess I was pretty pissed at him already but when jess said something he probably didn’t like he grabbed her arm. My world started to flip I wasn’t pissed anymore I was angry before I knew it I
teleported next to him and using both my hands I grabbed him by the throat I made a fire ball with my other hand and had it real close to his head. The kid was surprised at the sudden outburst but quickly regained himself and I started feeling sick under his gaze and I noticed my body getting weaker and my skin started to deform I instantly knew he was giving me leprosy.
I was even angrier at him now than before. I put up my life energy aura and started healing myself his eyes got big but before he and I could continue a teacher was already behind me.
“Mr. Dovell what do you think your” The teacher said trying to sound intimidating but failing I dropped the kid on the floor and looked at the teacher. The teacher took a step back and looked rather scared I was wondering what it was when Jess got up and gave me a hug.
“Relax baby your eyes are on fire” She said. I remember hearing that some strong fire mages can get their eyes to catch fire which is special as it means they have a strong affinity with their element.
The teacher composed himself and started throwing insults at me and as it turns out the other kid was Brad Cross. Everyone’s attention was on me and some of them were looking scared others looked amazed at the fact that I almost beat up Brad.
“You two have one more chance if I see one more fight between you two outside the arena you will have Mage point deduction” The teacher said before returning to the other teachers at their table.
I quickly gave Jess a hug and teleported back to my seat.
“So is it true that you are the new worlds strongest mage” One of the girls on my table asked.
I was calm after the accident so I answered “Yes, I am”
“How many spikes do you have I heard it was 25” another kid by the name of mike said.
“I have 66 spikes” By know everyone in the hold dining hall was listening to the conversation and when I finished my statement a few jaws almost hit the floor.
“66 really” Steven said (another kid)
“Yeah, so what your just a wimp” Screamed Brad from across the room I ignored him and continued eating. After eating each one of us was shown a room on your class dormitory.
My room was ok but I was informed that you could upgrade it using mage points during the year. That night I went to sleep happily.
Waking up the next morning I found my schedule with my name at the top of it on my desk and it said
1st Potions with Mr. Kron
2nd Swords class Mr. Dragon
3rd Animal class with Ms. Light
4th Fire talent class with Mr. Fox
5th Spells class with Ms. Avila
Lunch period——–50min
6th Life talent class with Mr. Void
7th Electricity class with Mr. Electro
8th Free period for elective or apprenticeship
It was pretty straight forward. I went to the dining hall and got my breakfast and sat with Jess this time.
“What classes do you have” I asked Jess wondering if we had any classes together.
“Here take a look” She handed me her schedule and as it turned out we had Animal class and Spells class together. I also noticed she only had 6 periods instead of 8 like me.
“Cool I have 3rd and 5th period with you”
“Guess I will see you later we have to get going or we are going to be late” I looked at the clock and noticed we only had 10 minutes before class would start. I stayed put and finished my breakfast in peace 3 minutes before class started I teleported into the room.
As I was looking for a seat I saw Mike waving for me to seat next to him I went and sat and before I could start in some meaningless conversation Mr. Kron the head teacher walked in.
“Ok class please open your books to page 100 I want to start you with the history of potions” From there he blasted into the most interesting class I have ever had. By the end of the class I had actually learned something.
My second period class was With Mr. Dragon walking into class I was directed into the locker room to put my exercise clothing on. When I came out my the class was gathering at the other end of the gym next to what looked like furnaces I instead of walking teleported there.
There was and old looking man whom I assumed was Mr. Dragon was gathering everyone in the class to explain the process of making your sword.
“Ok class when making a sword you need the base element, Once you have that you will need to take the impurities out and heat up the metal” He went into close detail how to make the sword but I wanted my sword to be special so I made sure to pay attention on which element to use.
At the end of class I changed out of my clothing and went to my next class which I had with Jess.
I teleported outside of Jess 2 period class and went when she came out I grabbed her hand and teleported us to the schools marble roof.
“AGH than its going to take a while for me to get use to that” she said while rubbing her stomach.
“Come here let me take of you” I said while I pulled her towards me. I pressed her against my chest and kissed her softly on the lips she kissed back and as we were kissing she nudged my lips with her tongue I opened my mouth to allow her intruder to come in and I did the same to her and in less than seconds we were in some serious make out section french kissing felt so different but not a bad different a good different. After 2 minutes she pushed me away trying to get my breath back.
“WOAH that was AWESOME” Jess said blushing at her statement but I felt just the same “Woah is the right word to describe that” I said out of breath” We better get going or we will be late for Animal Talent class” I said
I grabbed her wrist and teleported us into the class we took a seat next to each other as the teach walked in to the class.
“OK class as many of you have probably know this is advance animal talent class for those of you that have a greater power of magic”
“We will start with your pets as many of you have them a familiar is a pet that will stay with you for your hold life which makes them a little special but depending on how strong you are you can unite your pets characteristics with yours” A few faces in the classes turned into “What the fuck” looks the teacher apparently noticed because she said.
“Ok it’s pretty simple stay with me. Your familiar is a part of you when you choose them they already have all the qualities and personalities that match each other, and as the familiar expends time with you the more they take of your personality so what you can do its more like make their natural powers yours for example let’s say you’re familiar it’s a rat their power is mostly smell right” I few heads nodded in agreement.
“Well what you do is copy their power and make it your own so the person has a really strong sense of smell, for those of you which familiar is more magical like a dragon thats when this trick come in handy once you establish a connection with their power you can use their talent for fire so as long as you maintain the connection you can use fire at your will” A few smiles went around the room and a few groans from the people that did not have magical animals I had a question about the power so I asked.
“For how long can a person maintain this connection to their familiar” I asked the teacher when she had acknowledge me.
“First not all mages with the animal talent can connect to their familiars but those that can last depending on their power and connection to their pet, doing this is not easy it takes a lot of concentration and practice before you could even use it in real life battle” During class she went into more detail about the talent and how to use it and achieve it by the end of class she assigned for homework to bring you familiars next class to practice on them.
I walked out of class with Jess I decided to walk her to her class we were talking about how cool it would be to be able to connect with your pet and as we were talking I noticed I didn’t know anything about my pet’s powers. I made a mental note to ask him later. I left Jess in her class and teleported to mine right before the bell rang I didn’t know anybody in the class.
As Mr. Fox walked into class he wore a robe and glasses he was a little pale but the look in his eyes told a story like he had been alive for way longer than he showed.
“Ok class please pay attention this is Advance Fire talent class in here you will learn how to use your fire talent in day to day things and how to use it with other talents you may or may not have” As he was talking he made lots of eye contact with me.
“It also came to my attention yesterday that there is a student here who has a connection with the fire element which as many of you know is rare and highly respected. Jamie please meet up with me in your apprentice ship hour” he then continued through class talking about how to make fire figures and how to maintain them.
When I left I teleported into the door of Jess class so we could walk to spells class together as I was waiting Brad Cross passed me by he was looking at me like he wanted to kill me or something. When Jess came out we talked as we walked to class we took a seat next to each other and then Ms. Avila walked she looked to be in her mid-forties.
“Class this is spells class but you will learn how to cast spell and curses and how to overwrite them we will just go over the mental and different kinds of spells and curses today and then tomorrow we will practice”
“Some of you know about curses but there are many different kinds of curses which fall under certain categories such as Morphing curses/spells there are different kinds. The is also Persuading curses this two we will cover over the next Quarter” She talked about the different spell but by the end of class I was feeling nervous about the next day and how I would explain how i could do spells with my hands. Jess took notice of my nervousness.
“Whats wrong” She asked “nothing is just that I was thinking about how to explain to everyone about this” I said while I motioned tomy hands
“Just don’t lie as long as you are confident you will be just fine” she said while giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
We walked into the dining hall and we parted ways to seat with our own tables when I sat a fairy pop next to the table to take my order and then pop and left. A few minutes later the food that I had ordered which was a steak well done with some baked sweet potato and some wine to drink. Most people were ordering sandwiches and burgers but I wanted steak. Mike came and we sat and talked with the other people in the table and had fun.
I left lunch early like 20 minutes before I had too. I walked around the school and decided to teleport into the library. Harrington mage school library is one of the biggest in the mage world so I wanted to check it out. The library was huge the wall were filled with books all the way to the top the ceiling was made of crystal letting a lot of light come in there were books flying around putting themselves away. The Liberian was at the front she was an old lady probably in her late eighties. I made my way around and as I looked I made my way to the dark section. There were books that talked about curses and many weird things. I grabbed one that seemed to have information on the infinity talent. I sat in a table and started reading.
Dangers of Infinity Talent:
This talent is rare but the few that get it have many problems when the person downloads information from the world wide knowledge bank they are opening themselves to suggestion from the individual that has that information. To understand this you have to first understand what this bank of world knowledge is.
The World Wide Knowledge Bank or the WWKB is just the knowledge of both regular humans and us mages put together or connected together but when a person with this talent grabbed information that only an unique person knows they also take a bit of their subconscious personality. This can be either good or bad because that leaves their mind opened to corruption. This does not happen every time the person gets knowledge from the WWKB but you never know when it could happen that is why people with this talent must be precocious of how much and what they download.
There are some ways to watch out for these viruses. The person with the talent must have a strong mind and soul. Here are some tips to achieve this.
Meditation can achieve both
Healthy body can promote a healthy soul and mind

The bell rang before I could finish I put the book were I had founded and grabbed my stuff and teleported to the Life Talent Class. Mr. Void was a really cool teacher he obviously had a real connection to the life talent. He only went over what I already knew how to heal things around you.
When class ended I just wanted to walk slowly to Mr. Electro class. When I came in I found a seat and relaxed Mr. Electro walked in and sat down and waited for everyone to calm down.
“Class of electricity” He said in a thick Russian accent.
“Electricity is a powerful talent if used correctly, as many of you know already you can take electricity and from once you have it inside yourself you can shoot it out” he said while doing the hand gestures.
“But what you will learn in this class is how to use it for other things apart from making lightning.”
He went off to explain how the electricity talent works its weaknesses and his positives. By the end of class I knew a lot more about electricity talent.
When class ended I teleported into Mr. Fox class and waited for him to let his class out. When he did he motioned for me to fallow him into his office. Once inside he sat in his desk and told me to take a seat in front of him.
“Jamie I want to ask you a question and I want your opinion on it” he asked he had his hands folded in front of him and had a serious face.
“Yes sir ask me anything” I said
“I want you to become my fire apprentice.”
“I don’t quite understand what you are asking Mr. Fox”
“Well I am the world’s strongest fire master and I want you to become my apprentice. Let me explain to you what it means to be a master each fire user once they graduate are given the title of Gendai these title says you graduated school and know about your class type. After Gendai there is Master which means you were the apprentice of a fire master which every class teacher in this school has to be before they become a teacher. But then there is the Master of the Masters which by lucky chance is me. My title is called Infernos Master only one person has it and I want you to be my successor” He said
I didn’t even have to think about it “Of course sir it would be my honor to be your apprentice” I said excitedly.
“Well to do so you would have to come to me this period and you won’t need to come to my Advance fire class this would be you’re class for fire from now on.”
“Ok” I said
“So how about we get started with the symbol of being my apprentice” He turned around and walk to a solid wall he said some words that I did not recognize and the wall turned into a door. He walked in and when he came out he was carrying a really cool looking amulet he handed it to me as he told me what it did “This a secret only to us Infernos Masters this amulet makes you completely immune to any fire attacks as long as you have a connection with the element, Sadly this amulet only works on very few people only people with a connection to fire. You have a connection to fire it can help you become stronger” I took the amulet an put it in the watch looking thing my dad had given me it went right in. The second it went in i felt the connection to it. It was like the amulet was a part of me and I was a part of it.
“Ok my apprentice, for today lets just get to know each other you can think of me more as a friend than an enemy for starters my first name is Erick you can call me that also tell me anything you think I should know about”
I was nervous about what I was about to say but if anyone could help keep it a secret it would be Mr. Fox “Well there is one thing I think you could help me with, you see during summer I came opun a spell that merges your hands with your wand and it almost cost me my life if it werent for my life talent and the fact that I am really strong” He was looking a little confused at my statement and I slowly went to my hand and removed my ring the illusion was banished and I was left with my distantly familiar light consuming black hands. Mr. Fox or Erick was looking shocked at this new statement” I know of this spell its was created but no one alive could achive it this is amazing but most people will classify you as a freak and try to get the spell done to them we need to keep this a secret” he said obiously thinking over a plan
I will ask Victoria if she could give you classes privately instead of in public with you classmates I will also tell her about your condition she will find it most intriguing” he said
” I was also thinking if you could help me with finding a material for my sword that I must built my the end of the week” He looked at me with serious thinking face. I was getting nervous under his gaze thinking I had done something wrong.
“I think you are the right person to be given this” he went back into the closet looking room and came back with a a sword it looked old but new like age didnt affect the material it was made of.
“Here this sword is another relic of the infernos Master this sword was forged from the rock of an exploting star with the fire of a dragon and enhanced with magic to make it undistructable”. he gave me the the sword and I slowly unsheated it. The sword was red like blood red but the heges where is supposed to cut where black the sword was light weight like a feather in my hand.
“Thank you very much sir for the presents and for choosing me to be your apprentice”

Courting A Vampire 4

By: StormHerald
Chapter 4
The train ride to the country side was long, longer than I would have
expected, I ignored what country we were in and instead slept, being
told by my aunt that I would have little opportunity to do so once I had
arrived. Eventually, we did arrive and a long black limo waited for us at
the train station. My aunt had made sure I looked fresh and
appropriately vampire like, dressed in a very form fitting antique, black
lace dress. It covered every inch of skin from the tops of my hands to
the tops of my feet, and all the way to my jaw line.
I pulled at it for a moment before my aunt gave me a dark look and I
put my hands in my lap and waited nervously. She leaned to the side
and whispered in my ear, “We are the last to arrive, I wanted you to be
noticed, and you shall be. I want you walking in like you are a princess,
because you are, got it?”
I nodded nervous and my aunt nudged me again, “You can’t appear
weak, you will already be considered the weakest one just by being a
human Lilly. I want you to walk in there and act like there isn’t a damn
person there worth your time.”
I swallowed nervously and my aunt smiled, “You already had something
to eat before you arrived, and the courting ceremony commences at
sun set.”
“So how many hours exactly?”
“Oh enough time for you to greet who I introduce you to, and you are
to refuse to even look at anyone I do not introduce you too, especially
the three little vampy girls that will probably be more than excited to
get in an initial intimidation. Also, no eating or drinking anything I do
not give you myself, understand?”
I nodded, “I don’t imagine they are going to have anything Lilly friendly
there?”
My aunt nodded as the limo stopped. She pulled a few of my curls out
of the loose up do I had. She checked the diamond encrusted combs
and barrettes and then straightening me out, she stepped out flipping
open her umbrella and then reached down and held her hand out for
me. I grabbed it and got out of the car buttoning up the long jacket as
the cold wind hit. My aunt smiled and guided me to the castle.
We entered loudly announced and my aunt took her time closing her
umbrella and handing the umbrella and her very stylish hat to the
butler. I took my time unbuttoning my jacket and allowed him to help
me out of it, his obvious surprise at the jacket evident on his face. My
aunt laughed, “Not all of us are lucky enough to be able to sport such
accessories.”
I turned away from the man batting at a soft curl that kept tickling my
cheek and followed my Aunt into the ball room. The music and the
dancing and laughing all stopped as hundreds of vampire eyes turned
to stare at me. My Aunt straightened her back reminding me to do the
same and I looked straight ahead only looking at my aunt. The vampires
parted around us as my aunt walked straight to a familiar looking
group.
They smiled when they saw me and I was introduced to my mother’s
small group of relatives. I greeted the group of four seeing them
assessing everything about me and then looking behind my shoulder
with worry. My aunt started speaking heatedly to my cousin in what
sounded like French and I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I straightened and turned slightly to look into a pair of large black eyes,
sitting among a cloud of cold white hair, behind her stood the other
two betrothed. Desmond smirked cruelly at me, “So the little human
arrives.”
I felt everyone freeze that was within hearing distance and I looked at
the three before rolling my eyes and turning back around stepping to
my silently staring aunt and pretending to whisper into her hear. A
huge smile broke across her face and she stepped around me to handle
the three girls. I greeted the cousin she was speaking to, thanking her
for being there. The vampire seemed genuinely flabbergasted at my
thanks and said that she would never leave a member of the family to
fend for themselves, especially one as precious as me.
I felt my Aunt grab my hand and I dipped my head and thanked them
before turning away and looking straight ahead ignoring the glaring
vampire girls as my aunt slowly rotated me around the room.
Eventually we reached a very old vampire woman who spoke very
loudly to my aunt and then turned to me and gasped in shock.
“My dear whatever is happening on top of your head?”
My aunt began to explain who I was and that my hair was natural
causing the old vampire to lean forward and capture a loose curl, “How
odd, but rather lovely isn’t she Isadora?”
My aunt nodded and smiled, “She is rare.”
The old vampire laughed, “Oh Isadora, the game is afoot, is that the
angle you are going for? My little Desmond is still in the lead I think.”
My aunt laughed, “How in the lead Margarette?”
“She already has quite the relationship with the Prince, it almost seems
like this whole courting ceremony is nothing but a farce.”
My aunts eyes got sharp but her smile never wavered, “Oh well, we
shall see, I have faith in my little blue diamond.”
And with that my aunt turned and strode away, with me quickly on her
heels. She whispered to a butler and we were escorted through the
ballroom and out the doors. My aunt was walking quickly with sharp
steps and I was close behind her until I tripped and knocked over a
vase. I stopped and looked around for help and knelt down and picked
up the bigger pieces and put them back on the pedestal. When I
finished I looked around and realized my aunt was gone and I was
completely alone. It took a moment before I took off down the hall I
think my aunt went down and walked slowly and quietly, trying not to
attract any attention.
I felt the presence behind me before I heard it the velvet voice, “What
are you doing?”
I turned to look into an odd silver pair of eyes, “I am lost.”
He took a step towards me, he was tall a head taller than me, and he
was muscular, not the very lean body of most vampires, but instead his
body was powerful. My pulse quickened as his midnight black hair fell
straight into his eyes, the rest of his hair pulled back into a ponytail.
“Who are you?”
I straightened my spine and stared at him, “I could ask you that, but I’m
sure I wouldn’t get a proper answer. Vampires never give me an honest
answer.”
“You didn’t answer my question, instead you insulted me.” I saw the
silver in his eyes harden and I fought the urge to take a step back. My
father had always pounded into my head that vampires were predators
and reacted as predators would, they smelled fear, and if you showed
your weakness they would attack.
Instead I tried to stare at him with haughtiness, but instead I only
managed a weak annoyance and it didn’t even bother him. I took a
deep breath, “I am Lilith Vlaine, betrothed to Prince Damien Greyance.”
His eyebrows shot up in surprise, “So you are the little human
betrothed hmm?”
I finally slouched a bit in annoyance, “Cripes, would everyone quit
calling me the little human! Geese I look like big bertha against those
other three stick figure vampire girls.”
The vampire took a step forward and I stared into his eyes unflinching,
which seemed to make him curious and amused. As I studied him I
realized he couldn’t be much older than I was and he was
breathtakingly hansom. I felt my pulse quicken for a moment before I
took a deep breath to calm it. What the hell was I doing, I was
supposed to be getting married in a few months and here I was getting
twiterpaited by some random vamp.
“You aren’t nervous by my eyes?”
I returned my attention to his eyes and shook my head, “Why would I
be, it’s refreshing to not be the only person here without black eyes.”
“You are peculiar.”
I looked at him and scoffed, “Yes, I know. Thanks for being polite in
saying that the fully human offspring of a royal family is just peculiar, I
imagine I’m going to be hearing a lot worse before this is all over with.”
The vampire stepped towards me only centimeters from me, “That is
not what I meant.”
I finally stumbled back a step my heart pounding in my ears as I looked
at the young grey vampire, “W… What do you mean?”
He snickered and turned on his heel and walked away leaving me
grabbing the side of the hall and holding my chest, trying to calm my
rapid beating heart. My aunt found me moments later and the look of
absolute worry crossed her face as she took in my state, “Did
something happen.”
“A guy, he was so, abrupt…and unusual.”
“ohm, no, no, no, you are here for one vampire guy only miss Lilly, so
you straighten up, and fix that palpitating heart of yours and move
along, and do not ever lose me again.”
I nodded turning to follow her and took a few steps before I turned my
head and saw the sneer of pure hatred on the face of the beautiful
Desmond. I turned back around and worked on calming myself down,
focusing instead of the most interesting pair of gray eyes I had ever
seen.
When we reached the rooms my aunt threw herself across the bed with
her arm over her face in what looked to be a very dramatic posture,
“Lilly you will be the absolute destruction of me. I nearly fainted when I
saw you weren’t behind me.”
“I’m alright, just stumbled, you were moving too fast for me to keep up
in this ridiculous dress. Now explain to me why the other three get to
wear beautiful, breath taking, revealing, modern dresses, and I’m stuck
in a Victorian, full length, nightmare?”
“Well I am quite close friends with Margarette, whom you met. She’s
Desmond’s great aunt. It was her, that had informed me of how stiff
the competition with her niece was going to be, but I had no idea that
Desmond worked so fast. It seems that the little, blonde, nightmare has
already made it into the Princes bed, which puts the rest of the
betrothed, and ESPECIALLY you, at a great disadvantage. But having
anticipated something like this, was the reason why you are in that
dress.”
“Why again?”
“Well, darling, the Prince was moving about the ball watching all four of
you girls. Making a point not to be noticed, and all he saw of you was
an amazing set of curls, and a great figure covered in lace. At the
courting commencement ceremony you will be bearing your entire
body to be observed, he will be more interested in yours than the
others simply because he has seen far, far less of yours than the
others.”
I winced as she began to pull out the commencement ceremony outfit
that I was going to wear, “Alright Lilly we have one hour to make you
look like a princess.”
And with that she began to bath and demand I shave my legs, my
underarms and to my horror, my sex. When I had fully bathed and
shaved she began to help me get into my lingerie. It was a tight see
through corset of white lace that had no frills on it and laced up with a
sheer ribbon up the back. I straightened as my 34 DD breasts were
squeezed to their full glory, my smallish pink nipples hardening
underneath the constant rubbing of the material. Sheer white stockings
were snaked up my legs and the lacy tops rested on my thighs and were
attached to the garter ribbons hanging from the corset. I had already
put on the completely see through thong and watched as my aunt
undid my hair putting the combs carefully away before ruffling my curls
and then pinning them back up in a very messy, yet oddly sexy, up do.
She put a small bit of lip gloss on my lips to highlight their natural pink
shine then without much warning she slapped me on each cheek. I
stared at her stunned and she smiled, “I can’t put makeup on you, and
you needed a bit of blush. You’re not ivory; you’re tan so it takes a bit
more than a pinch to get your cheeks red.”
I wasn’t going to wear shoes, which would be the opposite of the other
three, who would be wearing tall, spiky, hooker heels. And the last
touch to it all was a black silk robe to wrap all of me in. My aunt was all
too aware of how human I was, and after asking around, found that the
council rooms would be cold, along with the entire castle, which meant
I could get sick being as naked as I was. So to compensate for the times
I would be forced to be naked my aunt had fashioned a silk robe for me
to wear to the council chambers. It was fur lined so I felt very warm and
safe in it.
We walked quickly to the chambers, my feet feeling the cold trek with
every step we took, “You know hooker heels sound kind of nice about
now.”
My aunt looked down at my feet, “Are they really cold?”
I shrugged, “It’s uncomfortable, but not unbearable yet.”
“Okay, chin up, in we go.”
We stepped into the council room, which looked more like a large
private office with a long desk sitting in front of me. The four council
members sat at the long desk and I was relieved to see that someone
had taken the time to put a very plush, rug down for all four of the
betrothed to stand on. I stood waiting, the first one to arrive, and
slowly the other three arrived wearing black see through lace, their
slender, angular frames on proud display underneath different styles of
lingerie. They looked at me startled by my robe but remained quiet as
we all waited. Finally the vampire I had met in the hall strode in, grey
eyes flashing as he looked at the four of us.
He bowed to the council members and stepped off to the side waiting
silently for the council members to begin the meeting. A very old
vampire stood up and stared past my shoulder to who I could only
assume was my aunt, “You were told she needed to wear something
that we can see her in? You were made aware of the laws?”
“Yes your grace, it is just that she is human, and therefore significantly
more susceptible to the temperature of the rooms, there for in order to
keep her out of harms way, she needed to wear something warm until
it was the appropriate time.”
“Aw, yes, I received your request. I can fully appreciate the situation,
now we have staff working on making the castle a bit more, friendly to
our little guest.”
I bit back and frown at his comment, and looked to the side of him
seeing grey eyes looking at my reaction with a glint of amusement,
“That being resolved, Isadora, she needs to present herself as the
others do.”
I nodded and untied the robe, letting my aunt slip it off of my frame. It
was obvious that no one expected white, because there was a mutual
intake of breath as the four old vampires stared at me stunned for a
moment before clearing their throats and turning to the grey eyed
vampire.
I started to feel a sense of dread as I began to realize who the vampire
was, and I kept replaying the meeting in the hall in my head, wondering
just how big of a fool I had seemed to be to him. The Prince nodded
and the oldest vampire pointed to Desmond and announced her name
telling her to come forward so the prince and council could inspect her
body.
She strode forward with confidence and didn’t flinch as the Prince put
his hands on her body, lifting her arms and hair and turning this way
and that. The scene repeated for the other two girls and finally it was
my turn. My heart began to thud violently against my chest as I stepped
forward and felt my body be devoured by the council as well as the
Prince. He gently touched me, lifting my arms and turning me this way
and that, and after being dismissed he kept staring at me.
I stopped listening to the council members as they grilled my
chaperone on my health and family, instead focused on the intense
silver stare I was receiving, feeling his gaze, like his cold hands, brushing
along my body. My breathing increased a bit as the cold feeling of his
eyes turned into a warm sensation in the pit of my stomach. I couldn’t
look away from his eyes, and he refused to stop his eyes from
wandering my body. My aunt’s touch snapped me out of the hypnosis
the prince was causing as the council members sat down and started
the conclusion of the meeting.
“Now Prince, as per tradition you take each girl with you to your
chambers one night for each girl, so that you can gain their scent,
should you need to track them. Which girl will it be tonight?”
I refused to look at him, sensing that Desmond had already assumed it
would be her. But as I heard her take a small step forward the velvet
voice said my name and both Desmond and I stared at him in shock.
The council chuckled, having not been as oblivious to the display
between Prince Damien and I, as I had thought they had been.
“Very well, then the lady Desmond shall be next, followed by lady Yuki,
and then lady Elizabeth. Thus concludes this ceremony, Isadora, I wish
to speak with you.”
My aunt nodded putting her hand on my elbow and propelling me into
the hands of the Prince, before turning and following the council out. I
ignored the very intense prickly feeling I got on my back at being glared
at by three sets of eyes and felt the Prince grab my wrist and pull me
out with him.
When we walked out a cheer and a groan welcomed me into the hall as
the whole vampire population seemed to be crammed into the hall.
When they saw me with the Prince money began to exchange hands as
a lot more groaning, than cheering happened. I was happy to see for a
brief moment that my four family members seemed to be receiving the
majority of the bet as well as congratulations and invitations to dinner. I
smiled at them and they waved mouthing a good luck before I was
yanked into another room.
The Prince let my wrist go and walked further into his room removing
his outer jacket and taking his boots off before collapsing onto the
couch. He looked irritated as he looked past me to the door, “Idiots.”
I moved forward and put my hands on the back of a chair, “Why do you
call them idiots?”
“Betting like that, they should be ashamed.”
I chewed on my lip pondering his words before shrugging, “I bet it was
boring waiting for the whole thing to be over with. I don’t begrudge
them a bit of entertainment and it seemed harmless enough.”
His eyebrows rose, “You realize they were betting against you being the
one I chose.”
I couldn’t help but smile, “They had a 75 percent chance I wouldn’t be
the one coming out. It was good odds. And what’s important is that
once again, I beat the numbers and my family bet on me, so they made
out pretty well too.”
The Prince looked at me quietly for a moment, just long enough for the
cold room to finally get to me and a shiver run down my body. His
eyebrows shot up again as he stood up and disappeared into the other
room, coming back with a blanket that he threw over my shoulders
immediately.
He sighed and I looked at him as he stood in front of me, “I’m sorry, I
know its annoying, trying to remember all the human stuff.”
“Yes, it is.” I nodded and looked around.
“I will be honest I don’t know what the council meant by you getting my
scent and what not, but I figured we get that out of the way and I can
go back to my rooms.”
The Prince looked at me then shook his head, “You have to stay the
night, the entire night, until noon tomorrow.”
I stared at him shocked, “Oh, okay.”

I shifted from foot to foot feeling awkward and finally the prince
grabbed me and pulled me to the couch to sit with him. He stared out
the window watching the birds fly out of sight and I pulled my legs up
and folded them to my chest wrapping them in the large blanket as well
setting my chin on my knees.
“You don’t remember me do you?”
I jumped a little at the Princes velvet voice then shook my head looking
at his profile, “No, should I?”
“We were play mates until you left, how could you not remember?”
I sighed, “The last time I was in the hospital was for head trauma, I
don’t remember much, if any part of my life before moving to Idaho.”
He turned to look at me, his eyes full of an emotion I couldn’t quite
place, “Honestly?”
I nodded, “Did we like each other, I mean were we friends?”
He turned away from me without saying anything and I felt a deep
sense of sadness roll off of him. I found it odd for a vampire to be so
open with their emotions, but after a while I began to realize he wasn’t
open, he just was really easy for me to read. I reached out and laid my
hand gently on his shoulder.
“You shouldn’t do that.”
“Do what?” He turned and looked at me his eyes growing darker, “Be so
comforting, so soft.”

I pulled my hand back and sighed resting my chin on my knees, “My dad
said that to me all the time. I don’t think he was ever more
disappointed with how absolutely human I am.”
I peeked from the side of my eye and saw that I had Damien’s attention
so I continued, “I can’t help but be comforting. It’s all I ever wanted
really, for someone to comfort me after being yelled at for the millionth
time about how human I was. Or seeing my parents disappointed faces
every single time I take a salad instead of a bloody steak.”
“Well it seems you will do nothing but disappoint them again while you
are here. Perhaps that is why your aunt is here and not your mother.”
I stared at him open mouthed shocked by how cruel he sounded.
Before I realized it I was out of the blanket and standing above him
delivering a resounding smack right to his cheeks. He was up in a flash
and grabbed both of my wrists and slamming me against the window,
“How dare…”
I felt the first of the tears roll down and I struggled against him iron
hold, “You jerk, you absolute ass hole.”
He shook me briefly yelling for me to stop it before I finally calmed
down and he glared down at me, his silver eyes now steal, “you think
just because of who your mother and father are that you can strike
me?”
“No, I don’t think my mother and father give me a reason to strike you.
I think you being an absolute prick gives’ me the right to strike you.”
I fought panting and felt his body pressed against mine as he pinned me
to the window. The cold of the glass and the cold of his body
overwhelmed me and I began to shake. Prince Damien groaned in
disgust and released me flinging me back to my blanket. I refused to
put it on, instead standing up and glaring at him.
Chocolate eyes glared down steel eyes as I worked on catching my
breath, my heart still beating from the sudden fight I was having with
the Prince. It was only as I started to calm down and my breathing
slowed that I realized the Prince had stopped looking at my face and
had started roaming my body again.
I took a step back and he took a step forward and I stepped back into
the chair falling into it. I was quickly up and out of it as he strode two
more steps towards me and I put it between us as I made a dash for the
door. I should have known it wouldn’t work, before my hands even
reached the door I felt myself lifted and thrown over Prince Damien’s
shoulder. I shouted and punched at his back, trying to get out of his
strong hold, only to be tossed onto a bed of dark, down bedding.
I sat up and stared at him frightened as he pulled his shirt off and sat on
the bed. I shivered now not from cold but from fear and watched him
take a deep breath.
“Why are you so afraid?”
“Why do you think, you attacked me.”
He chuckled, “I distinctly remember you striking me.”
“I.. I’m sorry.”
He became serious and shook his head, “Don’t be, I thought maybe
with a little finesse you would be able to handle this, but I don’t think
that will work in the amount of time I have.”
I looked at him my fear notching up a bit. He moved blindingly fast and
had me on my back my hands shackled above my head and my legs
shackled wide apart. I cried out in fear and struggled against the
restraints. His hand touched my stomach and he stared me in the eye.
“I will not hurt you, I swear it. But there are certain things we have to
do, in order for me to get your scent and taste. And it is something I’m
sure you were not told about, unlike your competition.”
“W.. What are you talking about.”
His lips pressed against mine and I turned my head trying to ignore the
sudden warmth that his kiss had created in my stomach. He turned my
head and kissed me again, this time keeping me from turning away with
strong fingers holding my chin. His tongue was warm and licked across
my lower lip before leaving my lips and kissing down my jaw and neck.
His fingers reached up and tweaked one of my small pink nipples with
his fingers, sending a charge of electricity and heat to my stomach and
down to the junction between my legs. I gasped and he locked his lips
back onto mine, his lips milking a response from mine until I couldn’t
remember why I didn’t want to kiss him.
The kiss deepened until we were both desperately locked in the kiss, his
tongue caressing mine as I sucked on it, his lips working at mine until I
was moaning soft moans into his mouth. He broke the kiss and sat up
looking at my now heaving chest. I watched as liquid, silver eyes looked
away from chest to my eyes before grabbing the top of the corset and
ripping it down the front, yanking it off and freeing my breast.
He grabbed the left orb, rubbing and kissing it, avoiding the nipples and
instead nipping close to them. He did this with both breasts until finally
his mouth locked onto one nipple and I gasped as his warm tongue
danced around the already tight bud, his fingers pinching and pulling on
the one until his mouth switched and he was licking and sucking on the
other one.
The junction between my thighs grew hotter and hotter as he fondled
my breast, and I moaned in pleasure. He began kissing down my
stomach, never stopping from twisting and tugging on my nipples until
he reached the hem of my sheer panties. With a flick of his wrist the
panties were ripped off and he smiled up at me.
“You smell divine.”
I gasped out a thank you as he began to nibble and kiss my inner thighs.
He looked at me once before lowering his face and taking a long lick up
my slit. I gasped in surprise and pleasure; I had never had anyone do
that to me before. I felt strong fingers pull my lips apart and another
warm, rough lick slid up my now dripping slit.
I gasped “Oh gods” and he chuckled before licking just outside of my
opening. I groaned trying to lift up but being unable to because I was
tied. I felt the shackles removed and then felt a two hands grab each leg
and rest them over his shoulders as he leaned down and began to lick
my slit up and down.
I moaned and writhed in pleasure, feeling a build of heat and electricity
inside me. He locked his lips onto my pussy and began to suck, nursing
the juices out of me, and delving his tongue as deep as he could into
me. I began rocking against him as his tongue darted in and out of me,
fucking me. I gasped and felt my body tense as a surge of heat flooded
me and electricity bounced through me. I arched my back and moaned
in pleasure.
As I came back down I realized that Damien hadn’t released my pussy
from his lock, and was instead sucking and drinking my juices, the look
on his face causing the heat to begin to build in me again. His tongue
delved in as deeply as he could until he met resistance. I almost cried
out when he broke his lock on me and looked at me.
“Lilly, are you a maid, a virgin?”
I nodded looking at him and wondering if something was wrong. He
groaned in what seemed like misery before kissing my body over and
over as I slowly calmed down from my first orgasm. He released my
arms and I sat up seeing him trying to hide a frustrated look.
“What is the matter?”
Prince Damien smiled at me, his eyes the color of silver, “You tasted
sweet, it was heady and addicting, and arousing, however, I didn’t
realize you were still a maid.”
He sighed and closed his eyes and covered his eyes with his arm. I
looked at his beautiful chest and then looked lower, not surprised to
see a very tight bulge straining against his pants. I leaned forward to
kiss him, realizing what he was not doing to me at that very moment.

The Hunters become the hunted part 2

When Erica managed to calm herself down and clear the traitorous thoughts running around in her head she started to plan the next move she’d need to make. It was unbelievable to Erica that fate would pair her up with a Hunter. Erica was an empath even before she had been turned and the change from mortal to vampire altered that gift as well. The ability to feels other emotions while difficult at first became useful once she had learned control over it. The change granted her the ability to feed off of the energy created by strong emotions and thereby reduced the amount of blood she needed to consume. There were other advantages of what the change did to her gift.
All vampires were apex predators, the top of the food chain as far as mortals were concerned. Erica could track prey by scent and sight even in a dark forest on a new moon as easily as she had detected John, the Hunter she corrected her wayward thoughts, as he walked in under the bright lights of the dance club. She had a greater advantage in her hunting in that she could sense what her targets were feeling; letting her avoid those that were wary or dangerous to her. At least that’s how it had worked until she met him, Erica thought. How could a gift she’d trusted for the last century fail so miserably that she had kissed a hunter?
Erica wanted to deny her feelings about the handsome young man even though she’d never had cause to doubt herself. The bigger issue she had with the situation as a whole was the fact that she knew what John was feeling for her right up until the moment he dropped her on her ass and ran for the hills. She had felt lust for sure, but that she got from the men and women on whom she fed from. Underlying the lust was a strong surge of emotion she wanted to deny having felt; even with all her desire to forget the feeling, love was an emotion she so rarely felt that she couldn’t help but to luxuriate in on the few occasions she felt it. This had been the first time in Erica’s long life she had felt it directed towards her.
*********
John finished his breakfast before using the showers at the truck stop. He was back on the road heading for the cabin in the mountains. He turned the music up and tried to focus on it at first. After that he started looking at the license plates on passing traffic to count the states before moving on to counting mile markers. No matter what he attempted John was unable to get thoughts of Erica out of his mind. He’d already given up on try to think of her as an It or a thing because his mind refused to form those thoughts. John admitted to himself that she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen; let alone had met personally. The problem existed in that it was his life’s mission to protect those who were ignorant of their existence from the creatures that lived in the shadows. He pushed the thoughts relating specifically to Erica to the back of his mind and focused on the crisis or identity or faith that he’d had right before stopping for breakfast.
Where all of the monsters automatically evil simply because they weren’t human anymore? Not all of them started off as humans as far as he knew but many had. He had been fighting for his life since he started hunting a decade ago; never able to go a day without thinking of the danger they were to him. Now last night he walked right up to her and kissed a Vampire, kissed Erica. He pushed the memory of her lips against his from his thoughts again. What happened to ten years of training and survival instincts when he’d seen her across the room? The thing that bothered him the most was that any other time he’d been in the presence of any kind of monster he’d know they were supernatural even if he didn’t know the type of creature he faced. Last night there was no sense and no warning.
John’s thought shifted to the night, five years ago, that he had found his parents had been turned. They had sought him out after they’d been changed; they hadn’t attacked but then again he didn’t give them a chance to do so. The minute he was in their presence he’d had that same feeling of danger he’d get from the monsters. He pulled out the machete and sidearm he used for hunting and attacked. I should have died that night, John thought. But he hadn’t; he’d taken on two trained Hunters with all the powers of vampires and lived. Had they come to him to die? Was he that good of a Hunter? What had happened that night?
Thoughts of Erica wouldn’t stay in the back of his mind. The feel of her skin as his hands slid down her arms and around her hips. The memory of the weight and feel of her body against his when he lifted Erica from the floor with her firm ass resting in his hands flashed though his mind. The smooth texture and pressure from her lips when the kiss started pushed into his mind followed by the sensation of her tongue against his as the kiss deepened. Part of John wanted to turn the truck around and head back into the arms of a predator. He thought that he might finally be going crazy because of the knowledge of what existed in the shadows. He forced himself to continue on for the cabin.
*********
Erica came to a decision on what to do and implemented it as the sun set that evening. She employed another aspect of her gift that had been changed with her. In addition to feeding and sensing the emotions of others she was able to track them in a way similar to dog and other vampires hunting by scent. Erica rushed back to the club’s parking lot in order to detect a trail. She found the imprint of his emotions quickly enough and she had two trails to follow. The first trail was the freshest as it had all the emotion she had felt in the club with a heavy dose of fear and confusion added to it. The second trail she found was older and the one she had been looking for; it didn’t have the feelings of lust or love but had his emotional flavor, for lack of a better word. This one Erica chose to follow back to where John had come from. She’d chosen this tactic in for several reasons. The first being that by following the older trail she’d be able to tell if the newer one joined up with it; telling her if she’d be walking into his home with him there. The second reason is that she really didn’t see herself as ready to face John; her emotions were still conflicting with each other. She feared for her life in seeking out the Hunter but wanted nothing more than to have him hold her in his arms again.
The trail she followed never crossed with the newer one as it led her to John’s home within the city. She entered the building without fear as she already knew that John wouldn’t be there. Climbing the stairs quietly as not to disturb his neighbors Erica’s heart began to race, pounding away in apprehension. She had no fear of death, but of what she may learn about the young man she was hunting. Hunting was the right term but not in the traditional sense. Erica wanted him more than she was comfortable admitting to herself; the last century of her life had been very lonely because she didn’t let anyone close. She closed off her heart as she was afraid to fall in love just to watch the person age, wither and die or for her to need to move away from the area as to hide her nature. Erica broke into the apartment simply by turning the knob with her enhanced strength until the lock broke in her hand. She spend the rest of the night looking for anything she could find that would help her understand John.
*********
John arrived at the cabin just about the same time that Erica was breaking into his home in the city. He was unaware of her actions even though memories of how she looked and felt in his arms assaulted his mind and heart. He hung his jacket on the coat rack and headed to the back of the cabin to cut firewood. The sound of the axe driving its wedge shaped head into the wood was deafening in the quiet forest. That was his meditation; the method he chose to aid in clearing his mind. He’d split enough logs to last for an entire winter before his thoughts had calmed enough to allow for decision making. He came to a decision in regard to Erica and began his preparations for the most important hunt of his life.
